Meet Mr. McGee

Mr. McGee has devoted the last 15 years of his life to teaching music to students in the Metro Detroit area. His past teaching assignments included, DPS Paul Robeson K-8 Academy, Southeastern High School, Inkster High School and Cass Technical High School.

He is excited to start this new chapter as the Director of Instrumental Music at MacArthur K-8 University Academy and the Assistant Director of Instrumental Music at the Southfield High School for Arts and Technology.

Mr. McGee earned his Bachelors of Music Education from Jackson State University (Jackson, MS) and his Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership from Marygrove College (Detroit,MI). Besides teaching Mr. McGee enjoys performing live with various groups around the area, outdoor activities and spending time with his family.
